  • Truly and ultimately, the "persona" of Christ was to show us how we are all called to be LOVING AS CHRIST! I don't believe that God sent his son to establish personnel policies for a religion that eventually grew into an institution which, ultimately, is also called to show us all how to respond to the Call of empowering other's sense of compassion, i.e., Christ.

  • You don't have these problems in a real church. These may only be men, but you either love the Lord or you love pleasure. Where your treasure is, so is your heart. No man is really a priest that abuses others in any way. They are a hypocritical monster in human skin.

  • gotta see you soon Fr. Ken....it's been too long! I love you and you brought me back to my faith!

  • I may not agree with all of his doctrines and theology, but in terms of what a Catholic priest should be and the way he should integrate and work with a community, this guy is a great example.

  • We will always LOVE you, Father Ken. YOU ROCK!...

  • WHOO! I remember when he was at St Agatha's. Man he threw some great fundraising events for the parish.

  • GO FATHER KEN DEASY ! ! !

True , some Church Elders or Pastors or Fathers or Priests ; are actually harsh and no understanding.

  • Reason at last! This guy should be a bishop.

  • If a priest is truly there "in persona Christi," he cannot marry. Christ was not married, and His example is supreme for priests and lay people alike. The apostles left their families for the sake of ministry. They didn't take them along with them after ordination at the Last Supper.
