Thank you to the amazing Melissa for the clear (and very true) explaination about 'why people love Adele'. It is her ability to make the listener feel just how she does, and THAT is a gift beyond that of nearly every other popular artist making music today. No, her voice isn't quite a 'grand' as Beyonce's or a few others that I'll not take time to mention, but it's very exressive, soulfull, deliberate, and the lyrics DON'T get lost in the song...beautiful!

....what? She just received a star on the Hollywood walk right by Janis Joplin!! Where is yours?!? She still packs concerts and rocks for approx. 3 hours a show without breaks, other than chats with her fans. Which we love! She's been on a few TV shows. She is still on the Grammys, like when she had just finished Chemo and did Janis tribute. She has a live radio show she does nightly. She's doing a world tour this year. Need I continue explaining to you what a celebrity is?

Frankly, when I heard 'The Early Show' got a make-over last year into a more "hard news" morning show (au contraire NBC's and ABC's), I started watching. Erica Hill as a serious and ambitious replacement for Harry Smith and the like, combined with a sober yet authoritative set and graphics, appealed to me. Now I learned about this new make-over, supposedly with even more hard news. But what are Gayle King and Beyonce's baby doing in this picture? And are they in CBS's basement?
