@terezealwell your narrowminded comment speaks volumes for which side of the fence you stand on, darwins theory has lots of evidence to back it up. you on the other hand are only to happy to see the dumbing down of man. lets not forget how the catholic church held back science for 1500 years, poor show mate. if anybody can come up with a solid alternative to darwin, the science community would shake your hand and run with the alternative, for science seeks the truth,

ben stein is so fucking stupid, he tries to make creationism look right because "the scientists cant explain exactly how the universe started. but he cant either. if he was to say, god made it, then you would ask, who made god? and he would, god made himself, because no knowledge is needed to believe in something that just made it work because its perfect, because he is too dumb to question anything else.

God did not "pop" into existence anymore than a software designer would "pop" onto his hard drive. Everyone wants "evidence" of the existence of God. How might you speculate, in the coming years and with advances in artificial intelligence, that an a.i. program(person) within a computer(universe) would find evidence of it's creator?

Rather than Stein sounding stupid, I think Dawkins sounds like some New Age fantacist, - No he doesn't know how the first spark of life came to be, but he thinks some earlier life from another planet 'seeded' life on earth. Oh, Come on! Well says the Bible that "the fool has said in his heart there is no God!" As an Irish writer said "they who don't believe in God will believe anything" Jesus is real and those who come to Him find rest, just as He promised - You can prove God for yourself.

Dawkins clearly doesn't think that life was seeded here. If you actually paid attention, Stein asked him to speculate on some sort of explanation if it turned out that there was evidence for intelligent design, and Dawkins said that it couldn't be a complex god that popped into existence. Instead it would have to be some sort of life that came from some sort of Darwinian means.
