A day in the Thailand beach town Hua Hin, Oct.2010

On soi 67, we stayed at a guesthouse, for less than $30USD. It is a short walk to the beach, light waves, beach chairs and umbrellas. Walking at the waters edge, the warm water, warm weather, perfect. There is a wonderful place on the beach for having a lunch of curry crab and a seafood salad, on beach chairs, palm trees in the background. In the evening, off soi 65, there are streets to the shoreline restaurants for a romantic dinner. It is nice to eat fresh Thai seafood and have a glass of wine, while listening to the waves in the Gulf of Thailand. Then play pool on bar street while listening to rock 'n roll music. Short walk over to the Hua Hin Brewing Company where happy hour is until 11pm in their bar behind the restaurant. The place is bigger than expected, and the Thai band of 4 musicians and 4 singers, makes for an exciting end to the day in Hua Hin.
