This was my third and final run at the Mount Ascutney Hill Climb on May 22nd 2011. I had never been at the hill before this weekend. Very fun event, with a 2000 foot vertical climb in the ~3 minute run.

The car is a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX RS set up for Open class rally racing. It was left in gravel specification with the exception of street tires on factory wheels.

  • We use to drive up this Mt. to drink beer on top. Of couse we drove slower hehehe

  • @JoeyandLindsay The WRX STi puts out a little more horsepower than the Evo, but the Evo's handling characteristics give you better use of it. Also, this is not a standard Evo in that video.

  • Just curious..what kind of HP does this put out? I'm considering trading in my WRX for a EVO X.
