    He was saying there is no state income tax.

    BTW there also is no state sales tax.

    I guess my confusion was that I've never really heard a STATE INCOME TAX being referred to as simply a STATE TAX. But he's coming from MA. I'm from Texas, and we only pay NATIONAL INCOME TAX, no STATE INCOME TAX. Contrary to NH, as you know, we do pay SALES TAX (excluding most food products). You wouldn't pay SALES TAX for say, a Radio. But eating at a restaurant, you'd pay SALES TAX on the "prepared food", just as we would and the other 48 states. I think I got it. - thanx
