A compilation of high quality and high definition photos taken during sunrise on the morning of 2nd January 2010. A light snowfall the previous evening, and a hard overnight frost led to some spectacular scenes before (with a large bright moon) and after sunrise between 8 and 9 a.m.

All of this beautiful scenery just 3 minutes walk from my house... a good job as after ground level shots of frozen branches and vegetation, I was nearly an icicle myself.
