The Doors L.A. Woman 40th Ann Re-issue

The Doors are going to re-issue L.A. Woman album January 24th 2012. The album will come with a second disc featuring alternate takes of the famed L.A. Woman album songs and a never before heard song She Smells so Nice. This would be a great gift for someone that doesn't already have any Doors albums or someone who is a die hard fan of the band. There will also be a making of LA Woman DVD and Blu-Ray coming out the same day. From what I have heard it will be like a Classic Album program.

Do you own The Doors Perception Box Set? I do! And I am really angry about the upcoming L.A. Woman Album Box Set with the 2 new tracks! I thought I had everything with Perception that is why I got myself the Box Set! I thought by the year 2011 they must have released everything, but hey I guess some of those tracks are really hard to find *cough* bollocks *cough*... You get me?

@boi187 I do own the perception box set. I hear ya about the band and Bruce not including everything in terms of LA Woman sessions on that set. I think the reason was cost which would be passed onto the consumer and they want to milk the material and for all its worth. I am still going to enjoy disc 2 of LA Woman 40th Anniversary and the LA Woman documentary DVD. After I buy this set that's it no more regular Doors albums for me.

Do you know if there will be multiple takes of certain songs? I've heard a few on youtube, but I'm a little disapointed because I thought there'ed be a lot more.
