recent researches have confirmed that the human brain cannot invent things ,he just recreates something he has seen in his own way ( means all inventions are a kind of recreations ).
In music, a melody can be made either from a freestyle mess-up ( like being bored and playing some mess with your guitar until you get a good sound ) , or a recreation of an other melody ( or multiple melodies ) that already existed.
It may sound stupid , but it's true so , enjoy the song as it is :P

@TweeksCoffeee there are a lot of songs with the same chords if you really analyze most songs. State of Shock - Money Honey, has the same chords too... There are only like a dozen different chords structures for songs, and thats just the way it is.. Nickelback is famous for ripping themselves off lol. At least you know I didnt copy New Divide, it just happens to be similar, because they are popular chords

Erm I know Dan plays bass,, what a news flash,,, If you have any knowledge of music theory, you may see the intro has almost the exact same notes in the same order in the same key as new divide. So it wasnt a stupid comment, I know this was written long before new divide, so im not accusing them of anything,,,,I love the song Oh and ps I got a fucking awesome life btw

@TweeksCoffeee how is it besides if you listen to the version when they play it live at a gig then you'll know that Dan plays the bass part. They are very original and their songs don't really sound like those written by Linkin Park. Stupid comment. You think it's funny? Get a life.
