Boker Plus - Subcom 42 - Great EDC Knife! Full Review 2011

A great super sharp super compact EDC non locking folder. Good workmanship combined with highly functional design. Another good Boker product.

Cute knife -- but very limited use obviously nothing tactical -- but it must be great to keep in your change pocket of your jeans .

You guys in England need to get out from under archaic laws made by aristocracy ..

Get rid of Royalty because it makes your entire population into peasantry.

Under 3 inches & non locking so you can cut your fingers off .

What utter crap.

Good review though .

Buy yourself a good Spyderco most Bokers are made in China especially the Plus .

But it has a nifty design

@millwrightman99 I agree, the law is outdated. However, I have to say that, living in the city, I generally have no need for a blade larger than this. As to the build quality, although this is made in China, it seems to be well made. I have used it frequently and it is still going strong. As to spyderco, I do own several already. Many spyderco's are also made in China.

@Alloutdoor1 You're right China is the new super producer of everything -- but all their knives are not bad -- I find some of the Spyderco Byrd line acceptable and most Bokers are pretty good .especially for the price .& the nifty designs .

When I buy Spyderco -- which is very seldom --- I stick to USA made & pay a little extra for the more exotic steels .I like the S30 steel & the ZPDM but I only have a couple .

I find Governments tend to only use us as tax paying faceless criminals .

i live in the us of a and im in new york and our blade limit is no less than 4. 4 and over is potentially illegal if concealed. but it seems to me that the only people that get harassed over knife laws are are the law abiding citizens because whats stopping the criminals from carrying guns and machetes and ice picks and thats why i always have a med large fixed blade on me so that if need be they become a statistic not me.
