Thirumalai

Thirumalai (Vijay) is an auto mechanic. He falls in love with Shweta (Jyothika) whose father owns a television channel. After resenting initially, she reciprocates his love for her, much against the wishes of her stern father. To break Shweta's relationship with Thirumalai, her father takes the help of Arasu, a political killer and power broker. A bloody war ensues between Thirumalai and Arasu. How Thirumalai manages to tame Arasu's wrath and manages to win over Shweta is what the film is all about.

But they discriminate heavily when it comes to fair women...even though the majority of south Indians are dark they are obsessed with fair skinned women...south Indian film industry are no more virtuous than any other film industry.
