Where is he from? I guess there are a lot of mistakes, but anyway it sounds good. In my opinion, for playing latin-american music, you should be latin-american to get in the feeling of playing it. If not, try to listen a lot of music to get into the tempos, styles and traditional rythms. I say it because im Guatemalan, and I do know something about latin-american music. That could help to improve your playing. Greetings!

@roepi86 Got to start somewhere and slow is always a good place. He's definitely on his way!

Dear Sitas. It's a bit like saying you shouldn't write anything if you can't spell.

way too slow ...

bien solo le falta un poco de sentimiento y sabor latinoamericano
Yes as a matter of fact I do, I agree it is a wonderful performance, even when I play I and talk guitar people I am aware I can come off harsh and overcritical, but when I play I more then welcome people to criticize me and tell me how I can improve, teacher, student, or just someone sitting in the room who knows nothing about music.

Hm-m, my earlier reply was intended for Sitas. Constructive (and realistic) comments by Pixiam are welcome.

he can't play this. he shouldn't perform it in public until he practises it enough. it's out of rythm and makes a lot of mistakes. sounds quite pathetic.

Your criticism of Nick is harsh and unwarranted. First of all this is not a performance (it is a classroom video). Yes, there are few mistakes, but most people accept that he is an excellent player and enjoy this clip. I hesitate to ask, but do you play guitar?
