I'm having a problem hearing my vocals when I record and go to play it back....I've checked my levels already what could be the problem???
-
@WhoIsTreG YEAAHH! it rocks. You can mix the vocals in so many ways, using the huge mixer or one of the many possibilities in the rack. Try the demo, and buy it, since you will love it.

How do i record the sounds from my mpc 2500 into reason record 1.5?
Can i play audio and midi (keyboard control reason sounds) together?
-
Could anybody tell me some good equipment to use for recording in guitar through cable, and does it come up automatically in the programmr when you plug in your guitar/keyboard etc? thinking of buying record and I use reason.
-
is this program good vocals?

I love how you can speed up/slow down the tempo with minimal artiufacts. This would be nice dow tempo correcting a live performance or adding a rubato feel to a metrically strict recording. I use SONAR 8, but it is pretty demanding on the resources and I'll see if the demo performs well. Looks like I'll get this any how.

Where can i buy your track?

@pusch80 yup anything in the edit window that you didn't select dis able time stretch :]
seeing in the end of that video how the tempo was slowed down. could that same case be implied if there was dr.rex file in that track?

You can import REX loops as audio files in Record, and the time stretching will be applied to the audio. This is different than using a Dr.REX Loop player. The audio is not stretched in a Dr.REX, rather the timing between slices changes.
If you do a lot of slice re-arrangement in your production, you can render a sequenced Dr.REX track to an audio track and then apply stretch to the audio.

If u did use the line 6 amp from record , woudl u mind telling me how u manage to get it to sound good? Do u use just compressors? Did u guys put the mastering effects on it.

Thanks! Yes we used the stock line6 amp models. My friend, Goh is a great player and brought in some nice guitars. That certainly helps. I did a bit of tweaking on the D.I. signal and did a bit of hardware post processing on some of the guitar tracks after they went through the line6 amps. For the most part though, the sound is all Record.
For anyone wondering, we tuned down the guitars to D#. The problem is that the bass was not tuned down to D# so there's some weird intonation.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
reason is great if you have a crappy laptop running vista and you wanna make kiddy music like grime or dub(shite)step, and with the added bonus of record all those so called mc "beet" makers can shout down the internal mic and record there nursery rhymes

Yeah, i'm hoping that someone makes a great track with this technique. Record with the Internal mic for the ultimate in Lo-Fi digital quality. It wouldn't surprise me if this becomes a production technique like the "telephone mic" technique.
Next time I'm in a drum session, i'll try this and sample it :) USB Mic Drum Samples - the antithesis of Addictive Drums, BFD or RDK
