Yes. i cried when I saw this movie. I cried when I dedicated this song to my mom. I cried when I danced this song w her at my wedding 10yrs ago. Back in April she visted me in SC & I played this song & we danced alone in my kitchen & we laughed, hugged and she told me how proud she was of me. In Oct I visited her in NJ on her deathbed. She'd had 3 strokes now and was suffering & frail. This time she whispered,"I'm so proud of the man U R. U R the wind beneath MY wings" Sadly Nov 11-she died. RIP

I was a single mother.,,,, Deeply depressed me, so far that i felt my baby moving inside me. And i realized that it was ,that moved my life and listening to this song, i felt very proud to have my baby. Now has 30 years. i tell him,,,,,YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!!!!!

I love this movie so much! I love Bette Middler's voice.

Everytime I hear this song it reminds me of my favorite

aunt that died years and years ago. She was like a

second mom to me. A family friend that died about 6

years ago. And now Whitney! one of my favorite sangers

since high school in the 80's. God is so good! I thank him

for allowing people we love in our lives for a wonderful moment.

July 2009 I went to Pismo Beach to care for my Sister she died from pancreatic cancer 3 1/2 months later, She was my Hero I loved her so vary much when I hear this song it reminds me so much of her she was my only sibling and I miss her so much she was the person I wish I could be, now its me and my Mother who is 89, my daughter died in an auto wreck at the age of 19 along with her son 18, leaving a huge hole in our family when the dust settled we had each other, I will always miss her

Love this movie it takes me back to my first love.

We said Good Bye in the 1980's and I went to find my career and see the world.

5 years ago they passed away like so many I have known.

I planned a funeral and the final Good Bye to them.

At night when I am alone and it's just Rex the dog and myself.

I swear I hear the laughter of all those friends long gone now.
