RMB City Olympic Celebration

On 8/8/08, as the whole world watched, the long-awaited Olympic Games triumphantly opened in Beijing. Only a few hours earlier, RMB City held its own Opening Ceremony, complete with fireworks and five rings soaring in the sky. Just as in real-life Beijing, all construction was put on pause so that the celebration could commence, and all enjoyed welcoming this historic event while floating in the air above the silent cranes and bulldozers. Throughout the games, all visitors to RMB City Preview Center can receive a special torch as a gift. City Hall looks forward to October 2008, when the city gates will open to the public, and for the first time RMB City can truly say Huanying Ni to the world!
