When producer Garry Marshall hit on the idea of bringing Jenny Piccalo's father into the show, there was only one choice for the role. None other than Phil Silvers, Cathy's real-life father! In part one of this episode we see Jenny Piccalo and her best-friend Joanie Cunningham (Erin Moran), facing a series of initiations whilst trying to get into a popular girls' club.
