Hello! How long has it been? Quite a while eh? Anyway, i managed to play a match with my free time today. A first time fight, standard tier, with xRenkinx from Gamefaqs boards. Enjoy!

hmm, didnt actually pay full attention to this battle the first time i viewed because I was playing Platinum while watching.

But now that I watched with full attention I can say this is one of the best battles ive seen.

Scizor has better priority due to Technician, and a more useful movepool(U-turn + STAB, Superpower, Technician + Bullet Punch, and pursuit which is nearly impossible for Metatgross to run on the same set[pursuit + bullet punch]). So anyways, Meta is more useful as an SR lead, rather than a sweeper. So Meta should be replaced by Gyarados because in a way, Meta + Scizor are redundant. So there's my little spheal on Meta vs. Scizor and what can be replaced.

Scizor is a very prominent sweeper, Metagross is not. Meta is imo, outclassed and it just doesn't get the job done as well as Scizor, which is why I meant for Meta to be replaced by Gyara(Scizor's fine). Metagross has an insane attack stat, and an above average movepool, and an instant stat up move, but they all fail to be useful due to Rotom becoming more popular. Agility = Doesn't hit hard, CB = Decent(useable but outclassed, maybe explosion is a useful selling point, but that's about it)....

O.o how are Scizor and Metagross not prominent sweepers? They both have insane attack stats, above average move pools, instant stat ups (SD scizor and agiligross) and priority moves.

In my opinion, Scizor + Metagross seem kinda redundant. Maybe replace it with a more prominent sweeper(Gyarados?). Anyways, I like your vids and it's cool to have a fellow Gamefaqser making vids. Remember, 4x effective doesn't always mean stronger, STAB is always there ^_^
