  • what was the name of that first song you played?

  • @7poppasmurf7 F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X

  • Unless I missed it, you did not cover the bit about setting the xt Live output circuit to what you are connecting to. The xt Live will TOTALLY suck if this is not set correctly.

I agree the manual is large but I would REALLY encourage everyone to read the quick start section (about 3 pages, I think).

  • @strattigib yeah. this video was just the basic "how to" for a friend i sold it to. and i do recommend reading the instructions if you have them. but unfortunately when i got them i didnt get one. but i knew alot about how to hook stuff up. so that helped. I didnt realize this video would have gotten so popular as it did. if i did i would have been more detailed. but i appreciate the feedback! no harm in trying to help! have a good one!

  • Where can I find the manual on this thing?

  • @MrNik316 you could try google. i have no clue i just messed with them all day one day and figured them out. best of luck to you!

  • @MrLino Line 6 also makes an add-on "gas pedal" like thingy that connects to the Pedal 2 jack on the xt Live. This allows you to have separate Wah an volume. I always hated having to go to max volume to get the toe-click. This add-on is like $49 retail, I think.

  • @DanJune100 True, it goes away from the xt Live forever .. BUT ....

If you had installed the software on your PC or Mac and sync'd the pedal at least once, you can simply reload the original Line 6 supplied tone thru a simple USB cable to the pedal (the software on Mac is called Gear Box, I assume it would be the same on Windows).

  • @MrLino yes. its called toe in and toe out. the "volume"/"wah" pedal is how you activate it. go to a preset that does not already have the wah on. and i find it easier to be standing up to do this. you push with your toes on the front of the volume pedal and then the wah light will come on. then there ya go. and if you want to turn it off you simply push it again. it takes quite a bit of force but dont go stomping on it. hope this helped man! good luck and enjoy!
