32X commercial

HOLY SHIT SLAM CITY!! i was just thinking about that game the other day wondering what the hell was that terrible live action basket ball game that was impossible to beat!

Looking at Sega's old commercials on YT, it's obvious they spent more on puff pieces than content. They also seemed to think being the first out with new tech was a good idea; but if you're the first you end up worst later on. Nintendo's well-rounded system strategy was ideal. They gave the Genesis fits with the NES, and when the SNES came out it was over. All those add-ons did nothing, they doomed Saturn, and Dreamcast only made a few waves. Nintendo was just plain better at the game.

even though everyone hates on the 32x, most people never got a chance to play one. I think if they had released it 5 yrs earlier it would have been awesome. Doom on the 32x is far superior to the SNES version. and Virtua Racing on the 32x is great too. Kolibri is also a great game. I see it as just too late and too close to the Saturn's release.

sega actualy had to advertize the 32x as a addon to be ahead of it,s time.
they just could say.
if you can,nt wait for our nextgen console but you want to be ahead into the future, get 32x.

0:21 WTF?! The regular genesis came out with the newer Mortal Kombat series up to Ultimate MK 3 and had better graphics than MK2 for the 32X.

0:23 Doom was only shown for a sec! Looks like they tried to avoid the showcasing of fuzzy creatures. LOL

i bought my 32X for 100 bucks ten years ago. Man, I wish I waited a little longer to waste my money on a play station instead of the 32X. The o.g. Genesis was pretty cool cuz its so durable!

depends on how long you keep it on and put it back on ... i used to keep the metal wires that came with it on the opening of genesis permanently
