Cool, Thanks for the reply. do you use draw your subject upside down, reference upside down to stimulate the right side of the brain?

Love your painting, its sweet, great song too, one of my favs. Mind if I ask a question about technique? Do you draw your underpainting free-hand from reference or use a projector? Thanks.

Thanks Brett! One of my faves, too.
As for the painting, I'll usually sketch what I want to paint onto the canvas first (unless the canvas starts off black, in which case I'll free-paint) and use that as a guide. I don't use a projector - I think you lose the personality of the painting if you're just tracing the original :)
