Here's Zuri learning to take my socks off (poor wee love, what a stinky job). Taught with positive reinforcement using the clicker. This was shaped by starting with her touching the sock when it was off the foot, then on the foot, then her first nibble and pull of the sock until she pulled it right off. We are now at the stage of using both feet and adding the cue to let her know she only does it when I ask. This is the sort of task some service dogs are taught to perform for their disabled owners. Takes a little skill to get a gentle nibble of the sock and not the toes! The beauty of having a clicker savvy dog is - this took 4 sessions of 2 - 3 minutes to get to this stage. I think that is amazing. This would not be the case if she had not been used to clicker training and the creative learning it promotes. Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE clicker training?
I love that you have so many socks on!

@jodythekiwi It's a wee bit chilly! Nah not really, the socks on top were too loose and easy to pull off, so I improvised to make it more challenging for Zuri. Didn't realize the ones underneath were odd socks until I watched the video, Doh!
