Yeah. It's funny. People point out verses in the bible that they interpret as condemning male homosexuality. Not ONE condemns female homosexuality, except for in Romans 1. But that isn't even condemning lesbianism. It only talks about people leaving their natural relations, bc of idols. That sounds more like heterosexuality lust for the same sex. Not TRUE gays.

It's always struck me as odd how Christians do not penalize any so-called sin except homosexuality. You can divorce, remarry while your first spouse is alive, even though that is adultery in God's eyes. You can murder, you can sleep with prostitutes, you can have premarital sex, etc., and Christians will still listen to you. But be gay and OH NO! lol.

Truth is, research the entire Bible as translated into modern English versions, you will find that lesbian sexuality isn't disallowed in Levitical law, and that Sodom+Gom were destroyed b/c there were "no righteous people left" and not just for sexual reasons. They were also liars, etc. When you get into Jesus' teaching, it's mostly about love -- described in terms of words like "agape" (& "phileo" which is similar to "fellatio"). I know this is trans-literate, it's just how I understand it.

So true. I am a gay Christian and I don't go to church anymore because I am so sick of how I am treated by other Christians.

"Most Christians" are not small minded.. Really? Do you attend a Unitarian church with a few christians mixed in the congregation ? You certainly don't live in the south. My experience is the complete opposite , it's the rare christian I meet that isn't a small minded biggot

Christian people/fans lost their sh!t when Amy Grant got (gasp!) DIVORCED. I think she's done pretty well, regardless. People need to wake up and join the real world...stop wrapping their judgment and hate in "faith".
