People have asked me to film San Bartolo. I went on Saturday (2009/08/29) to give a class at Blvd. del Ejército, which is in the general direction of San Bartolo (east of the city). So, when I finished the class, went to film the area: San Bartolo, soyapango. These are working class (lower to middle class) neighbourhoods.

  • Awesome! Mr. Roque, You are the Man!

Now you see that black Pick Up coming out of that street on minute 2:17? Exactly in that corner is Accopat or at least it used to be!

You past by exactly in minute 2:20.

Thank You so much for this effort that you are doing for our co-nationals living out of El Salvador, my father used to drive Ruta 29 Centro in those years were the old Blue-Bird Red Buses they used to pay him 100 Colones daily which is equivalent today to $11.43 .

  • I go a bit further back, when the Ruta 29 were Mercedes Benz original bodied buses! (which were old even then). So Accopat suburb is inside Ilopango town?

  • @roquemocan --I'm very impressed dude. How do you know all these facts and information about our country? It seems like you are very knowledgeable and you are the one whom to ask for anything.

  • @mifasitoes1 I am salvadorean, born here in El Salvador!

  • You already saw the video of Accopat that I uploaded, yes? I used to pay 0.15 centavos to ride the bus, in my days. That was about 3 pennies, less than a dime for sure...
