And contrary to what you write these elitist divisive groups did not play a role in anything. it was the individual devotion to a collective movement that catapulted the Civil Rights movements across this nation. @BobbyWhalentino Take a look at the Black Panther PArty. The works that Iota Phi Theta played include numerous sit-ins a host of community outreach and marches. This organization played a more active role in the North versus where the Southern States were receiving more attention. Also Iota Phi Theta made the NPHC the Divine Nine. Do your research, they were asked to become a part of the NPHC. And this is not a popularity contest, its a devotion to service of mankind.
