@LenssenOhnePartner They are more related to panfish like blue gull (sunfish) and other panfish like pumpkin seeds.

@LenssenOhnePartner Somewhat. It is a panfish that can get rather medium sized compared to bass. the world record is just around4 pounds, so it can grow rather big, the average is about 1/2 to 3/4 pounds. But there mouths are pretty big compared to body size.

@KMTfisherman thats pretty good !! you should have taken it to an official weigh in scale and have it recorded ,, seems you crushed the world record,, it was only 21.5 inches long ... you have a picture we can see?? wink wink....

i love crappie fishing in cj strike in Idaho me and my dad catch some that are almost 2 lb. great video.

when ever i catch crappie they are just dead weight i thought at first that the reason why they call them crappie cuz they suck when it comes to a fight
