It's really easy once you know how to play it. :)

You have to arrange the 2x2 pieces so that they form a minimum of a 2x2 square of the same color.

You can then extend it vertically and horizontally.

The scan line clears the valid parts, you can make huge combos if you have the diamond block because it will clear all connected blocks.

The Vampire is easy, but yeah, sometimes I get killed too, because I don't like the Skin changes. If you need beginner practice, I recommend Lumines Mobile (.jar).

That has continues and a slow enough learning curve for newcomers.

Not to mention bomb mechanics and frequent clear all color blocks.

And a chiptune version of Shinin'/Urbanisation.
