After leaving Carmen at the altar, Shane's life spiralled out of control, she deeply regretted what she did and felt ashamed. She went back to former flame, Cherie Jaffe and began taking drugs again. Loosing Carmen was the hardest thing she's had to cope with. She became tired and fed up with everything but she'll never be tired of Carmen and will always have some sort of feelings for her.
