This tribute includes clips, pictures, and a song from some of Maureen O'Hara's most famous theatrical films, in the order they were released. The picutres were all found on google, though it did take me awhile to find ones that aren't seen that much. I even took screenshots from the movies for some pictures. The songs I used are listed below:

Tune Up - Albany Symphony Orchestra
You Go To My Head - Bing Crosby
Something to Live For - Ella Fitzgerald
For Now For Always - Maureen O'Hara
Forget Me Never - Elvis Presley

I couldn't put the title of the films used on the clips/pictures as they appeared, although I did try. So, I'll list the movies down below. List starts after "The Hunchback of Notre Dame":

Dance Girl Dance-1940
How Green Was My Valley-1941
The Black Swan-1942
This Land Is Mine-1943
The Fallen Sparrow-1943
Sinbad the Sailor-1947
Miracle on 34th Street-1947
Sitting Pretty-1948
Rio Grande-1950
Flame of Araby-1951
The Quiet Man-1951 (released 1952)
Against All Flags-1952
The Long Gray Line-1955
The Wings of Eagles-1957
Our Man in Havana-1959
The Parent Trap-1961
Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation-1962
Spencer's Mountain-1963
McClintock!-1963
Big Jake-1971

Maureen has made over 60 films, not all are shown in the video obviously. I tried to pick more of her most famous films to show clips/pictures from. If you have any questions as to which pictures/clips are from what films don't hesitate to ask me!

  • Just want to mention that the singing is Ella Fitzgerald. I don't think it would be right for anyone to assume it's Maureen O'Hara singing.

  • @wompeter1 Yes, one of the songs is sung by Ella Fitzgerald. However, Maureen O'Hara sings "For Now For Always" which is also featured in the video.

I don't watch the Oscars but if they did honor Maureen OHara I would watch it. Maureen deserves it. She is beautiful, amazing actress and beautiful singer.

  • Maureen O'Hara inexplicably and shamefully was never even nominated for an Oscar! She is now over 90 years old (but still vibrant and healthy) and one of the last remaining talents of the Silver Screen era. I think we all need write to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (oscars.org) and demand that they recognize her with an honorary Oscar this coming year...
