Sally Reed of Green Bay Wisconin, wanted to send a GRAPHIC message to congress to illustrate why Medicare is important to American Seniors.
After recieving a mastectomy 2 years ago, she is still undergoing regular visits to get her mammogram done yearly, in the hopes that cancer doesn't come back in the area that was cut out. She went for a visit to the doctor yesterday and is still awaiting results for her existing breast as well as the area that was done two years ago.

I love how you impowered your self to take this type of a stand, though you should have never had to. We need a political system that is actually listening to the people.

How sad that a message like this would even NEED to be said. It makes me wonder if / when there was a time when our leaders actually poked their heads out of their Ivory Tower Cocoons and took a long, hard look at the little people.
They had better wake up soon to the needs & voices of the people...or reap what they sow.
