On August 28, Celebrate the Dream, a group of faith leaders and community organizers, erected a massive People's Memorial to Martin Luther King on the National Mall on the 47th anniversary of his "I Have a Dream Speech." Just a stone's throw away Glen Beck and his teabaggers rallied in the name of "Restoring Honor." We asked both groups what MLK's Dream meant to them.

  • Glenn Beck preaches to people who long for a past that never existed, a "purer" time when the quality of life was based on yet more extensive racial and economic injustice. Most of his sycophants are cautious not to use explicitly racist words so they can continue to tell themselves they believe in something more than "I've got mine."

  • Lol i just saw a comment that said the person sways toward beck cuz becks rally had more people. True traits of a sheep and follower

  • Beck wouldn't know true honor if it bit him on the ass.

  • Beck who?

  • What were the Glenn Beckers screaming about at 1:08? Was it directed to the Other 98? Why did they get so hot and bothered?

  • @zslant youre saying your on, "Becks side." over martin luther kings because their were more people in attendance to scream profanity and negativity. uhhhhm

  • equality for all.. men.

  • @nicholasrh82 ahh.. big words don't make you correct. Did you ask Glenn Beck about this? hmm..

  • why didn't you show any Glenn Beck footage? .. weird.

  • Wow. Not many people showed up for the MLK Dream rally. Check out how many people showed up for Glen Beck. Watch some of The Restoring Honor series on youtube. It was pretty impressive. Upwards of a million people in attendance. I'm not a Beck follower or an Obama fan. But after watch video from both sides, I'm swaying towards the Beck side.

  • I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will be judged by the color of their skin not by the content of their character. And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true. And so let intolerance ring from the coasts of California, to the coasts of Maine.

Rich at last! Rich at last!

Thank God Almighty, I'm Rich at last!"
