LUBUNTU LINUX SUCKS!

I have Lubuntu linux installed (google it if you don't know what in the hell it is). I thought it would hold out, but NOOO... It's slow, it sucks, it hates most of my CDs and DVDs, and today, I decides to shut off in the middle of an update, and it makes me repair the filesystem, WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME. I'm just not satisfied with it, so now, I'm removing it...

And before you comment, it's been long removed. Since August 2010 actually.

How much you paid for Lubuntu actually?

Lubuntu is superlight weight, and fast actually.

And it was obvious that you SHOULDN'T restart your PC in a middle of an update!

If your laptop is on battery, it recommends you to PLUG IT IN, FIRST!

And Lubuntu was actually pretty nice, that it tried fix the filesystem you just DESTROYED, so you end up to a working OS again!

What question/options did you expect? Fix the filesystem or Delete Lubuntu ???????

@PASCHALisBLUE Okay, you're making a number of misjudgments here.

I paid nothing. I also paid nothing for Windows, as that computer was a birthday gift.

I never restarted my PC, it powered off when the temperature of the machine hit a limit point. It did it itself, I did NOTHING.

I even recall stating it was plugged in. So that argument is invalid.

Never tried to fix itself before. NEVER. I had to FORCE it to fix itself.

It's an OS, I hate it, and it's not a sin to hate an OS.

Seriously you tell us to google what lubuntu is yet you can't google what grub is and how to get rid of it from your mbr.

Now, as for how to get rid of Grub, boot with Windows and install as usual. it should automatically write over the mbr and get rid of grub. NOW if for some reason it does not, there is a way to go to a windows terminal or the like on the cd and rewrite the mbr that way. Do a Google search.

Linux is for people who know it, or are willing to work with it. Not static people.

I can't remember what I said in the video, and this was done a year ago, grub is gone, I just used a different MBR fixing statement.

@CarnelProd666 Trust me, there is a difference. If Lubuntu isn't working out for you, you should try Ubuntu 11.04 or Linux Mint 11

In my opinion, nothing is a perfect operating system. All of them have their own advantages and disadvantages.

One thing's for certain... WINDOWS IS NOT BETTER THAN LINUX!!!!!!!!! Linux is FREE, USER FRIENDLY and takes up SO MUCH LESS SPACE and at the same time has MUCH MORE FEATURES. So instead of jumping to conclusions, get to know the system better and you will find Linux is a lot better. If LUbuntu isn't working for you then fine, but for the better of your computer, go get Ubuntu instead.

@CarnelProd666 Simple. If you had googled it, it would have helped you. (When I was younger(12, im 16 now) and testing around with setting up a dual boot I had to find a way to reset the mbr because grub is stored in the linux file system. Which I had already gotten rid of.).

Just, in the future, when you have a problem(with anything): post a help on the right forum, not an angry video to the world.

I just googled, get rid of grub. The second link was exactly what was needed.
