wait a tick. was FFA reported as Sword of Mana?
-
@DartUchiha lol too true, but i'd still watch it.
-
@Thief8Bit I noticed that to and was about to say something about it. Maybe he intentionally used a whip. But unless he uses another weapon this is going to look too much like Castlevania.

:38 GOD DAMN RED MAGE STOP BEING SO FUCKING USELESS AND HIT THE GIANT FUCKING 2 HEADED WATER SERPENT.
-
Eh I didnt noe this was the Original Sword of Mana

there are a few final fantasy references in this maybe enough to make it a hybrid ff/mana game, theres a chocobo, man looks like a red mage, theres mog(moogle debuff), it is an odd style game, but one of my favorite games ever made!

I'm seeing a pattern develop here...
Belmonts: Defeated Dracula with a whip.
FF Adventure Fighter: Defeats Vamire with a chain flail (also called a chain WHIP)
Kinda fishy...

@valiantvyse Yeah, and I think it's Black Mage in disguise, trying to kill Fighter for being an idiot. XD
-
@Mantelmann It's a Flail in the English version
-
The other guy during the hydra fight looks like a Red Mage from Final Fantasy :D
This game doesn`t belong to the Final Fantasy Sagas. Its one of the best games ever!

Ya it belongs to the Seiken Densetsu (Secret of Mana) series. It's a great game though, I agree.

This game came out in 1991. If I remember correctly gametrailers mentioned this game in one of their final fantasy retrospective videos. It seems that it has nothing to do with any of the final fantasy games. The Final fantasy title was just a gimmick to sell more copies, which was common back then as the Final Fantasy name was tagged onto the Legend Series as well. And those Final Fantasy Legend games were part of the SaGa series.
