@ThomasKinzer sorry tard but that top fuel dragster only runs nitromethane..... you may not smell it if the wind is blowing the wrong way.... regular race fuel...BAAHAHHA noobs that think they know everything

These engines ARE on the verge of blowing up. And they often do. Thats why they only run for a few seconds then get rebuilt. I have no idea how much a run costs these teams but fuel alone is around $285 per run.

These cars do not use Nitrousoxide. They start on Alcohol then the Nitromethane is introduced, after warm up the Nitromethane is stopped and cleared from the cylinders by just running it on alcohol. Hence the engine speed picks up and then shuts off. If any nitromethane is in any of the cylinders at start up it will blow the blower off the engine.

at wot the amount of pressure coming out of the exhaust can generate 800lbs of down force. think about that, that's more than most engine weigh. that's why it feels like a kick in the chest when they go by.
That only happens when there's nitrous being used. Smelled like regular race fuel on this one.
