the Devil Dogs - Action (live)

Essential US garage rock 'n' roll outfit. Released some great vinyl records on the Crypt label. This comes from a crappy old VHS tape and the source is unknown - probably either from 1991 or 1993 and judging from the banter in the USA somewhere - if anyobody knows please let me know.

I've seen the DD in Thiers , Le Balthazar , France in 1991 , it's the best show i've ever seen in my life , with another Crypt band one year later , Nine Pound Hammer .

I cannot say with certainty, but I suspect it is at a venue called The Continental. It was a small club on 3rd ave & 8th street in NYC, where they used to play all the time.

A band that had more Rock n Roll in 'em than most! Just as important as The Stooges, Flamin' Groovies, and other American greats! Classic songwriting..
