For many years now Cold Steel has been fascinated with the Black Knife or Skean Dhu (Gaelic) of the ancient Scottish warriors.
Used as a utility or back-up knife and worn under the sleeve, tucked inside a jacket or slipped into the top of a stocking it was thin, flat "pointy" and light as a feather.

  • you have continuously hipped me to some tasty jams!!!

  • @DBrownofdc Hey, good music is good music

  • @jmce3 Thanks for actually being involved in the comments with your subs! Yeah I'll definitely try to find some non-silver rings and give it a try. Any suggestions for a cold steel folder I'd like to get my first, middle of the road knife

  • @RedEricTheGr8 hahahah, thanks. I'm just a knife fanatic that likes talking about blades. If you have your mind set on a CS blade I would go with a Medium Voyager or a larg AK47. That blade is a tank with both a wave feature and the tri-ad lock which is as close to a fixed blade as you will get with a folder.

If you this is a first knife check out Kershaws line up. This year they came out with some great options. The Tremor is a great option at a low price

  • Wow those rings are expensive! When I get a better job I will make cool bracelets like yours lol.

  • @RedEricTheGr8 My bad "LightHound" and hit lanyard supplies.

  • One of the best parts of this video is the song. Ballad of John Henry, Joe Bonamassa.

  • @jmce3 Alright thanks man. Yeah I have the kershaw blur satin plain edge assisted in red and it is a really nice knife. It's the most expensive knife I've had so far. And kershaw has really good customer service, I took that blur apart and dropped one of the washers and couldn't find it, I emailed them that afternoon and by the next afternoon they were mailing me another set of washers I was impressed. Since the ak comes waved does that make it less likely to develop blade play? I saw that cutl

  • @RedEricTheGr8 hahahah, Oh yeah silver has gone up over the last year. But ya know ya can go for another metal and it will cost less. I have some old brass and stainless steel stuff that cost about 4-5 bucks. And you can find cool beads at places like "Lighthouse" I have some cool stuff from them and cheap paracord.

  • @jmce3 Thanks for actually responding back, most of the other ppl on YouTube I watch don't bother replying to my questions. If I could ask one more where do you find those rings?
