  • Gradius V wasn't made by Treasure.

  • Yea I was looking for the Gradius V intro here and I only saw one that had a music replacement with some crappy song about love. We know this game has nothing to do with love so what the hell would you put a song like that on it for? So I figured I had to post up the original, with the original music. Blowing up a space station just doesn't seem as cool if you hear shit about love in the background.

  • That's supposed to be the planet Gradius (i.e, another inhabited by intelligent beings planet) but if you pause it at 0:50...that's Iraq, India and part of east Africa. Wuuuut?

  • @Guanthwei Uhhhhh yes it was. It even runs in the same engine as Ikaruga.

  • VIC VIPER BITCH!!!

  • BEST Gradius Opening.

  • radiant silvergun is made by treasure

  • YEAH!!!! VIC VIPER RULES!!!!

(if it can c¿be as easy to defeat big core mk IV rev 1.2) thanks for the upload, because my gradius v copy freezes when the intro is playing T_T. very cool

  • Amazing!

  • However, the gameplay remains the same as previous installments, but still Gradius V needed a new direction...

  • In case you haven't noticed, Gradius V does not follow the traditional formula in previous games. According to the game's senior producer Osamu Kasai, he said that Treasure had knowledge in modern shooting and was a partner that could understand the Konami spirit.

  • Yes, it was. You should disregard the copyrights at the title screen; standard practice that Konami was credited. And also, Treasure's JP web site listed Gradius V in their products section. Of course, Konami had to outsource development to Treasure (coincidence that the company formed by former Konami employees).
