Right heres a little rap
Bout what comes out of your tap
Water treatments cheap and easy process
It takes all the dirt and tosses it
So we start with dirty surface water first
All that bacteria doesnt quench your thirst
Then onto the treatment train it goes
To rid of particles that really shows
We start with the process of coagulation
Removing particles using chemical addition
Small particles charges change forever
Making small particles stick together
Next is slow mixin in whats called flocculation
Which promotes collisions called floc formation
Theres some water softening here and there
But the rest of the country dont really care
Now that these particles are big with good density
We gonna use something cheap called gravity
Heavier particles sink during whats called sedimentation
But the light particles will have to go through filtration
It has many layers like sand, coal, and gravel
Which help and are used to stop tiny particles
Finally the water goes through last step called disinfection
Inactivating disease-causing organisms, not sterilization
Now the water is good for me and you
So lets take some and put it to use
