Not bad... But won't these dual channel jobs create dual congestion twice as fast?
-
test was done using UDP instead of TCP... results will show a lot faster because the packets don't need to handshake...?

Is there is a technical spec for this device or any newer? What category HSPA device is it?

If you live in the outer suburbs these things are useless.Just waisted 300 bucks on this usb,it keeps cutting out and is slow.I went to telstra shop to buy an external antenna, but they have no idea when they will be receiving the next order of patch leads. So i had to buy on the internet. I am typing this post with my antenna connected to my ultimate usb and i am getting a pathetic 1.33mbs.I live in the western suburbs of Melbourne, only about 15k's.These things work fast in the city only.Useless

Well, I finally upgraded my crappy 7.2 to the Ultimate and I can say without a doubt, it is WAY WAY WAY faster. Before I got annoyed when the 7.2 slowed down to 100Kbs and now I get annoyed if the Ultimate slows below 5Mbs. This video downloaded in less than 2 maybe 3 seconds.... Much, much faster.

Test what speeds you get out Hillside way and let me know. I'm currently using the 7.2 USB modem and am very disappointed with the speeds I get. On average I get between 500Kbs and 1.6Mbs, but I often clock under 100Kbs which is pathetic. As an example; your 2:02 video, played in 360p, took about 3 minutes to download. I wont be re-signing my contract when this ones up.

@TheAlphaMale316 the new modem is way faster than the old 7.2 modem and you should expect much higher speeds. Stay tuned for a road test comparing the 7.2, 21 and the new 42. Cheers Sam
