The rider isn't a he, they're a she and guy that she hit on the side line was her dad, ouch!!

The rider keeps hanging on to the grip, meaning the throttle stays open and drags him forward even more. Hard to feel sympathy for the rider. The other guy needs to be quicker on his feet.
