ARTICULATION
When it comes to Arctic traction, articulation is the name of the game. Most of our ATVs don't use sway bars, so all four tires stay in constant contact with the ground. Go over rocks, stumps or downed trees. Bottom line: Four wheels on the ground means better traction and better overall ride.
ON-THE-FLY 2WD/4WD
Just flip the 2WD/4WD switch conveniently located on the handlebar and you'll easily get where you need to go.
FRONT DIFFERENTIAL LOCK
With standard 4-wheel drive, power is delivered to both the rear and front tires via the open front differential. This allows the front tires to spin at different speeds maintaining easy steering. With 4-wheel drive front diff lock, power is delivered equally to all 4 tires providing maximum traction to get through gnarly terrain.
RIDE-IN SUSPENSION
Designed and proven on the racetrack, our Ride-In suspension features a lower profile and seat design, allowing for a lower center of gravity without sacrificing travel. Double A-arms prevent deflections during cornering, so steering remains consistent.
COMFORT
Arctic Cat has always been at the forefront of ride technology. Our 2-up technology has revolutionized the category with features like heated handlebar and passenger handgrips, protective fairing and windshield, and a deluxe digital and analog gauge. Your body and your brain will finally agree to take the long way back home.
ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING
Delivers a true variable assist system by measuring not only vehicle speed, but also steering torque at both the handlebars and wheels. The electronic control unit measures steering input forces, resistance and speed, alerting the motor to deliver turning forces at predetermined levels.
H2 1000 V-TWIN ENGINE
Our St. Cloud, Minnesota built H2 1000 V-twin engines display big-time displacement in an ATV — 951cc. The "H" stands for hemispherical combustion chamber, which provides a cleaner, more complete combustion. EFI delivers consistent starting and performance, regardless of climate or altitude.
H1 ENGINES
Also assembled in our St. Cloud, Minnesota facility, the H1 engine in our 700i, 550i, 450i and 425i provides ultrasmooth performance. And our 350 carbureted engine adds something else powerful: value.
DURAMATIC AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Our Duramatic automatic transmission needs no introduction. As bulletproof as they come, this durable transmission is made of a centrifugal clutch with primary and driven belt clutches. As RPMs rise, the centrifugal clutch engages — allowing the primary clutch to be engaged with the belt at all times. What this does is reduce belt wear, extend belt life and provide true engine braking.
HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES
Our hydraulic disk brakes allow you to enjoy your ride more in knowing when it comes time to stop, you'll have as much as need. Wet or dry conditions, you'll experience highly responsive stopping power thanks to the sealed hydraulic system. For those who like value as much as safety, these are designed to be more durable and require low maintenance over the years.
1050-LB. TOWING CAPACITY
For those of you who like to tow everything including the kitchen sink. No need to carry multiple size receiver hitches, most or our ATVs have a rear 2" receiver.
TRV 3-IN-1 FEATURE
Our TRV's 3-in-1 passenger seat allows you to remove it by just pulling two pins. Replace it with an accessory SpeedRack® or a heavy-duty cargo box.

Put some anti sway bars in your suspension and a better 4 wheel system with stronger axels then I'll consider calling that a quad. But right now all that is is an excuse for a quad... Piece of shit
