If you could grant a wish to a complete stranger in need of help this Christmas, please share this video with a doctor or medical professional you know. I'm 24. I've been sick seventeen months. I can't find out why. I've seen a gastroenterologist, hematologist, cardiologist and standard internal medicine doctor. They are baffled. Because they can't find out what's wrong. And do I have irregular test results in a few areas. Among other things like a lot of weight loss. Others I explain in the video. I nearly died a month ago and was hospitalized for four days as well. Please watch this. Thank you. P.s. feel free to verify my story by calling St. Vincents in Portland, OR off Barnes Road and asking them if Justen Charters stayed there in late November.
How are things going now? Are you feeling any better?

Hi Justin,
I am not a Dr., but thought it might be worth mentioning to have your MDs look into malabsorption disorders; severe vitamin deficiencies, sarcoidosis and pheochromocytoma.
Also consider a spinal tap if one has not been done. A rheumatologist can rule out many auto-immune disorders that caould also be possible based upon the symptoms you describe. Try contacting the show Mystery Diagnosis and see if they can offer any help. Good Luck to you. I wish you the best.

If I were you, I'd check into the Gerson Clinic, or at the very least buy their DVD's and protocol-- then watch yourself heal.

On my 1st post I meant to say coconut is rich in potassium, not magnesium, and Zico is the only brand independently tested to contain what it says in terms of electrolyte minerals.

If you can afford it find a holistic doc or naturopath in Portland who will do a Metametrix 2100 GI Function Profile stool test. It's a DNA analysis of pretty much anything in your GI tract that might be hiding. Standard scope test for celiac is mostly useless unless there is nearly total small intestine destruction. THE only reliable way to assess is to go absolutely gluten free for 3 weeks and see if the symptoms go. You didn't say exactly what you were doing the days before the initial onset.

Until you get a diagnosis
1. what is your blood pressure? I assume it is low (under 100/70). Multiple times to bathroom = very low on electrolytes. Make yourself a replenishing drink with 1 cup water, 1 tsp honey (for some glucose), 1/4-1/2 tsp of both baking soda & salt. Drink with 1/2 banana for potassium + 2 oz of almonds for magnesium. Better yet get coconut water (rich in magnesium) and add the salt and baking soda to it and have the almonds. Also do go gluten free and get tested for Lymes.

Autonomic nervous system dysfunction perhaps. Dysaustonomia can manifest with GI problems (can be severe), mitral valve prolapse, orthostatic hypotension (the feeling light-headed upon standing or even passing out), and severe fatigue.

I think you should focus on your worse symptom and find a specialist in that area. People get lost in the medical system because they don't go to the correct specialty to begin with. An environmental doctor or osteopath(whole mind-body) might be helpful because they have different training from a regular doctor. A.D.A.M. is a symptom finder online program. It may be helpful. Mayo Clinic and Web MD are great resources too. Good luck.
