Samsung Jet Video Demo #1

A demonstration of the Samsung Jet's video recording capabilities in low light (this is recorded at the highest resolution 720x480). I can't compare this to other current phone cameras but I am sure it is not a huge improvement on the Samsung G600 which was my last phone. Having said that, in natural light I think it performs reasonably and I will probably get a demo on here of that so that you have a balanced view.

I noticed that about the video quality but as you say you tube uploads never looks the best.

Thanks very much for this review it was exactly what I was looking for and probably would not be the main reason I would buy the phone but still looks half decent quality.

Do you know if you record phone calls?

Actually if you watch the HQ version, that is about what you can expect in terms of resolution. As for recording phone calls, I don't think so. There's no apparent options that are available during a call so I would say not.

FM radio recording is available though and the quality of this is excellent, as good as the original broadcast, which is great for if you hear a tune and want to record it to mp3 as a ringtone.

The resolution reduced dramatically on the upload to Youtube. Trust me, the resolution is ok on the original.

That's the downside of YouTube; the quality of videos decreases because it has to be compressed. However, the video quality of the Jet seems fine to me, at least it's better then my SE C902 :)
