Luciano Pavarotti - La donna e mobile - Live 1966

Luciano Pavarotti sings La donna e mobile from act III of Verdi's Rigoletto. This is probably my favourite rendition of the aria, Pavarotti uses good dynamic contrast and does a thrilling cadenza with a C#.

who cares about the voice !! The voice does not matter at all...! Kraus was also great in the Italian repertoire . Puritani / Lucia / Rigoletto / Traviata / Favorita / his technique / accento is not comparable to anyone else especially to Pavarotti who has a great voice but He did not sing like Alfredo Kraus at all..........especially in the late period

I agree, he had a very good and powerful voice. He should have kept the on the same repertory the whole of his life with La boheme, Rigoletto and the other pure Lyric roles. He would have not have almost any voice decline as his voice was so talented by nature.
