Some background information: Andy McCoy took Nikki to a heroin apartment in London in February 1986. The dealer shot Nikki up for him and Nikki overdosed right there. The dealer started to beat Nikki with a baseball bat in hopes of waking him up, but has no success. Nikki was then thrown in a dumpster outside, left for dead.

It's unfortunate, I really love both bands alot and it's a shame more people don't know about Hanoi Rocks. But Andy as talented and gifted as his is has always seemed to get to people. Hanoi Rocks should still be around, even the new line-up that only included Micheal and Andy as originals was good but they couldn't keep it going. Really it's too bad, at least Micheal has a rocking solo band these days.

I gotta say, Hanoi, and Motley both my favorite and only favorite bands, but i gotta admit, hanoi are way better musicians, probably have partied harder than anyone in motley crue, and definitley deserve way more credit than motley crue
