But Wesley is jolted out of his predictable routine when he meets Lindsey (Thandie Newton), a down-on-her-luck single mother who works as a cleaning person in his office building. Outspoken, impulsive and proud -- and also recently evicted -- Lindsey struggles to make ends meet for herself and her young daughter. But when Wesley offers to help her get back on her feet, his innocent good deed ignites an unexpected attraction -- and suddenly Wesley finds himself caught between the life he thought he wanted and the powerful desires of his heart...

  • There's something I don't like about Tyler Perry as an actor. I mean if you put Will Smith at his place in the same exact trailer, I would actually like the trailer. But I just don't see Tyler Perry as someone with charisma or likeability. I guess the fact that he always has to put his name in front of each of his movie titles doesn't help, it makes him look like it's all about money/fame as opposed to the movies and the other actors.

  • @whfan007 In his defense, it is just called "Good Deeds", we put Tyler Perry's name in front of it because we know he has a substantial fan base and people would be more inclined to watch it. But I do understand your sentiment.

  • All of you naysayers and haters don't have to watch this movie. If you don't like Tyler, why did you even watch this trailer but to pick it apart? Looks like a great movie with a great message as all of his movies are. Why do you attack this man just because he isn't "Mr. Hollywood" and doesn't play by their rules? And for those saying he is egotistical, I don't believe he is because he's a very modest soul who actually worked hard and deserves to have a huge ego if he really wanted one.

  • @whfan007 sounds like you have a personal problem then. there's no problem with establishing or branding his movies. he has worked tremendously hard to get where he is today, and that's all that matters. if you don't like his movies don't watch them.

  • I swear this movie made me a BIIIGGGG fan

  • Looks like his best movie yet

  • @thebeatonpath

    Amen! Amen!

Even if he wanted to make all his projects about himself, he don't have to try! Let us remember, this is a man who, by his own strength, talent (and some pixie dust from heaven) rose to be the successful man he is! Whether or not we like his films, that is even besides the point, in the age of whiners and handouts, Mr Perry stands as a symbol of determination, luck, goodness, and (whether we wanna agree or not) HUMILITY!

Carry on, Mr Perry! Make us believe!

  • His name should be twice as big as it is when it leads in HIS OWN movies. Get bent elsewhere with a negative opinion that only shows your petty meanness. please............

  • Seeen thhhe mmoovie

    so gooodd deeedz

  • This Was The Only Movie He Made That Wasnt. It Was Funny, Witty, Intellegent. It Has You At The Edge Of Your Seat The Whole Movie. B+ Movie

  • Great movie. I never boot leg Tyler. I have not been in the theatre since his last movie. People are simply jealous of the man's success. His fans don't care about y'all one bit.
