A short video of the beach and surf - Hanalei Bay, Princeville - during my trip to Kauai, July 2009. This was during a nice sunny, breezy early afternoon. We just pulled to the side of the road and I started recording, using a Kodak EasyShare Z1275 camera. It could have been a longer video, but my camera run out of battery power, and I did not have any spare batteries.
Note: For this short video, I allowed YouTube to choose the music appropriate in length. I was lucky!

I'[m off to Kauai in three weeks, swimming in Hanalei Bay is one of my top priorities. Is there adequate parking there? Loved your video BTW. Hope the weather is this great when I get there.

@annabelle2ful Aloha, Holly. We happened to stop by the side of the road (no parking) when I took this short video. For a most fantastic view and photo/video opportunity, I would recommend driving to the St. Regis Princeville Resort Hotel. Although you'll need to valet you car, you'll be rewarded with a wonderful view from the hotel's balcony. Check out my video titled "Hanalei Bay, Kauai 2010".
