Hastings DEMU 1001 goes to Portsmouth - 'Solent Sentinel' Railtour, 20/03/10

Class 201 'Hastings' DEMU No. 1001 worked Hastings Diesels Limited's 'Solent Sentinel' Railtour from Hastings to Portsmouth Harbour and return on Saturday 20th March 2010.

The outward route of the charter from Hastings to Portsmouth Harbour was St Leonards Warrior Square, Battle, Etchingham, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Bromley South, London Victoria (reverse), Herne Hill, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Epsom, Warnham (photo stop), Horsham, Chichester and Portsmouth and Southsea.

The return leg from Portsmouth Harbour to Hastings was Portsmouth and Southsea, Chichester, Worthing, Hove, Haywards Heath, Gatwick Airport, Redhill, East Croydon, Tulse Hill, London Victoria (reverse), Bromley South, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Etchingham, Battle and St Leonards Warrior Square.
