  • You cannot install a on and off valve on the shower head. I speak from experience using similar systems. If you shut off the water at the shower head, you will overheat and damage the heating coils. The heating coils have to have water running thru them, similar to a radiator when you have the propane heating system on. You also will get burnt with the superheated water when you restrict the water flow. The only way to increase water pressure is to have a fully charged battery.

  • @MrLmm001 - If you watch my other video of the complete camp shower system totally set up, you will see how I was able to successfully install an on/off valve into the system without any damage.

  • for the heating element do you have to have a propane cylinder or are you able to battery power too incase you don't have a propane cylinder on hand???

  • @mattmax11 - The battery only powers the pump and the ignitor. You have to have propane to heat the water.

  • @mattmax11 - The battery / electric power runs the pump ONLY. You must have propane to heat the water.
