  • It was almost 10 years ago when I first heard this song .

I was so moved, and it brought my tears everytime I heard,

although I am a Japanese who can not understand English at all.

Their skills for playing traditional instruments are really perfect,

and moreover, Dolores Keane's vocal sounds and eches so soflly

    and emotionally.

Thanks for your posting, I also hope many people might hear and

feel this song with tears from their pure heart.

Very sorry for my terrible English

  • @natty217 Thank you for commenting. Your English is quite all right. I believe you will appreciate the lyrics if you try. Yeah, this beautiful song's gonna move many other people.

  • I heard this beautiful enchanting song while I was on holiday in Ennis - County Clare.

It brings tears to my eyes hearing this song sung so beautifully.

Thanks ever so much for posting!

  • Well, I do agree with you.

I was so moved when I first heard this song.

I bought the CD and have playd this song many times,

but I have never bored with it.

I thought I should post it on YouTube

so that many people might hear it,

though the photos of my own taking are terrible.

The CD contains another beautiful song called

    "Down in Australia".

  • Well the song is positively enchanting and it brings back so many memories of my time in Ireland.

It would of course have been the perfect accompanyment if the photos were of an Irish theme but the song is worth listening to over and over again.
