  • @Timbertea 100+ comments on this post and you're the only one that figured out to run the trem and vibrato at the same time! (It could also be 2 trems, I'm not sure). I do it with 2 cheapo pedals on a practice amp and it sounds waaay closer than this vid. The key is to have BOTH effects running simultaneously to get the "warbly" sound. I thought it was pretty obvious... apparently it wasn't.

  • Was just watching The Smiths live version of it from Rank. Seems like they added a little bit of a chorus effect in, and the distortion is more of a mellow fuzz.

    Still, your method gets a lot closer than that of other guitarists I've heard attempt this. Cheers!
